An American cellist from a prestigious family and a charismatic Irish guitarist meet by chance at a music party and fall in love. A single meeting in New York was enough for a deep feeling to flare up between the two musicians. But pressure from their families and circumstances proved stronger than passion, and they were forced to part.
From this short, stormy romance a boy is born, Evan Taylor. By a twist of fate the child ends up in an orphanage, and until the age of 12 his life is a series of trials. Everyone considers him crazy and a fantasist. But Evan believes that the music he hears everywhere will lead him to his parents. And when the possibility of adoption comes up, the boy runs away from the orphanage to search for his family and ends up in a band of homeless child musicians. Here his difficult path to music begins.
The whole film is filled with music; it sounds everywhere and runs like fine threads through the entire plot. So much music in one film — classical, street music, the music of nature, the music of the soul — so very different, yet always wonderful.
This film needs to be listened to, to be felt. It creates such a happy, wondrous, peaceful state of the soul, one that is impossible to describe but that makes you believe in your dream.
The film fills you with joy and the expectation of a miracle. Watch it yourself, watch it together with your children.
Watch and enjoy!
With love, Tatiana!
